Vendor Route BriefThe tapers' section
A culture of permission, gear craft, lineage notes, trading, preservation, and listening that made the live archive possible.
The Grateful Dead's relationship with taping turned audience documentation into a parallel public memory system. A good recording page therefore needs more than a play button: it needs the date, venue, source, taper or transfer credit when available, lineage, and a path back to the host archive.
Deadhead Vending does not copy restricted files into its own storage. It links or embeds authorized public players and keeps the source visible.
This page is an original orientation, not a replacement for the archive, artist, historian, or firsthand witnesses.
